- Hazardous vegetation on City-owned land in the Clairemont canyon between Argonne Ct and Park W Ave Per SDMC 142.0412, the unmaintained Washington and dying Date palms constitute a ‘fire ladder’ and a severe fire hazard to the adjacent habitable structures. Additionally, thickets of invasive Brazilian Pepper trees and unmaintained palms are providing harborage for rodents. Requesting an immediate inspection by the Fire-Rescue Brush Management Unit and abatement by the Open Space Division.
