I am writing to report a safety concern at the children’s playground in our local park. During a recent visit, There was a gopher roaming around the playground area in broad daylight. In addition, there appear to be signs of burrowing nearby. I am concerned about the potential safety risks this may pose to children, including uneven ground, possible holes, and the chance of kids attempting to approach the animal. Given that this is a high-traffic play area for young children, I kindly ask that this situation be assessed and addressed as soon as possible to ensure the safety of families using the park. Large tree in between sidewalk and street is pushing the sidewalk up and creating a dangerous hazard for people. This tree is also too big for its condition and the base could break. A similar tree a house up in a similar spot fell and damaged a car. This tree is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
