Work still underway on Soledad Mountain Road at La Jolla Scenic Drive South is a complete mess. The job seems to be a clear testimony of how the City is managed. There has been no communication with the neighbors, reiterated and inexplicable suspensions and zero planning addressing the particular situation where there are three schools right at the intersection under maintenance -plus two other schools down the road. How come the supervisors in charge have completely disregarded the calendar and daily schedule of the schools in order to lessen disruption to life in the neighborhood? Someone should be held accountable. Is there an end to this situation?

The City performed utility work in front of our home several weeks ago that required cutting a trench across our driveway, likely for a water or sewer line repair. The excavation has been left covered with temporary plates instead of being permanently repaired. The plates shift and move when driven over, creating a safety hazard and increasing the risk of damage to our vehicles. The condition has persisted for weeks without repair, and we are also concerned that the open cut beneath the plates may lead to cracking or further deterioration of the surrounding driveway. We request completion or a timeline to complete permanent repairs to restore the driveway surface and ensure the area is safe and stable for regular use.

I paid for 4 green bins. Only left two out. They spilled the first one, tried to scoop the spills into the second bin then left without dumping the second bin. Saw all this through my window. This is the second time they did not dump more than 1 bin. There is still space in truck since it went on to service next home. And the bins were far apart, they pushed them closer together (pictured) after trying to clean up the spills.
